What is there to say about a countdown app? It counts down.
You add the things you can't wait for. Countdown tells you how long is left, down to the second. And when the day has come and gone, it keeps counting, so you know how long it has been since.

The idea
Events that matter, and how far away they are.
A trip. A birthday. A launch. The day the braces come off. Give it a name and a date, and Countdown does the rest: years, months, days, hours, minutes and seconds, calendar-accurate, on a card you'll want to look at.
Past events don't disappear. They flip to counting up, so "the day we moved in" becomes "2 years, 3 months and 14 days ago". Memories with a running clock.

Your data is your data.
Everything lives on your phone and in your own iCloud. Nothing is collected, tracked or sent anywhere. I couldn't read your events if I wanted to, and I don't want to.
And you can always take it with you. Export a CSV with all your events from Settings, keep it in Files, Mail or Drive, and import it back on any device. Changed your Apple ID? Lost a phone? Moving to another app? The file is a plain spreadsheet, so even if you leave, you still know when everything happened.

Privacy policy. Countdown collects no data. Your events, photos and settings stay on your device and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud. Nothing is sent to the developer or to third parties. There are no analytics, no ads and no tracking. The one-time purchase is processed entirely by Apple, and the developer never sees your payment details.
